I thought there was a thread here somewhere, but I couldn't find it... Anyways, you know how in China there's a huge image issue? My mom's birthday is coming up and she's going back to China soon for a visit, so I figure I'll get her a nice purse or something... as her's is total crap right now... Any recommendations? We went to a Louis Vuitton in Paris, but I've recently decided that their bags are crap... I'm thinking along the lines of a purse, with a long shoulder strap... Or maybe a slightly larger type shoulder bag... (don't know what they're called... those squarish messenger like bags?) thnxx!
Since your mom is older, I would recommend the more classic designers, like Dior, YSL, Fendi, or Chanel. Dior camera bag - the pink and the flowers may be too wild, but they have it in other collections. More tame, more mature look. Another Dior bag.
what...?? just wha part of China is going to anyways?? I seriously wouln't recommend you bring a nice ass bag back to China as it could get stolen... you know how crazy some of those people are... if ya going for expensive you can always get her a Bottega... =/. Too flashy. Go for the bigger saddle bag with the big D that hangs down. The DIOR on the side is really overkill.
