Does anyone know of a brand that sells dressy clothes for shorter and skinny guys? Trying to find some for my brother who needs clothes for job interviews. Everything in the malls are too big: 32+ sleeve, and 28x30pants and up. He needs more like 30 sleeve and 27 or 28 x 28 pants.
hummm.... thinking...... thinking...... can't think of anything y don't u get hims some good looking cloths and just alter it to fit him
i think Gap sells pants that are shorter cos they have differerent inseams and stuff.... but then when i buy clothes i am like 2 sizes smaller..... so i don't know how it will work with your brother who is hella skinny.
ohhhh you can also try Mens Warehouse..... i don't know if you live in the US but they have everything.... mens suits and everything
We've been to Gap. They have khaki's there that fit length and waist (28x28), but they are so baggy on him! -surr Their dress shirts are also baggy in the upper arm area. Or is that area supposed to be baggy? -confused We did go to a Men's Warehouse earlier this week. But they're soooo expensive. With tailoring and stuff, the pants would cost ~$120!! -shock I suppose we could buy one pair of them just for interviews, then he can wear baggy khakis to work when he actually gets the job... but would that be points off the impression? I didn't know Jones has guy clothes. I shop there for my office wear/ dress suits. Unless you mean he could wear ladies' clothes, which I admit, does run much smaller. But, the most of the shirts there are slimmed at the waist and shorter than men's dress shirts, I guess to accenuate a woman's curves. Same problem as Men's warehouse. Tailors are costly. Thanks to everyone on their input so far. I've been checking HK clothing brands like G2000 to see if they ship to the U.S., but very few do, and when they do, they want to charge like $40 just to ship. If this continues, I guess we really have no choice but getting his clothes custom made.
Try the boys section, or try different brands that cater in smaller sizes. I know Tommy hilfiger smalls are smaller then some others and also lacoste.
lol get custom made best way to do it as it'll fit perfectly & obv last a good while as its not cheap crap
Dockers should have some nice khakis that'll fit. Dress shirts I'd say Banana Republic or Guess would be the most likely places for ur bro cause I always see lots of small sized shirts at those stores and especially at BR. Other than that you'd either have to get lucky or have them pre-ordered. Have you guys tried the kids section in large retailers like Macy's to see if a large or XL would do? But then again if the khakis at Gap are too big for ur bro than I dunnoe... Try Gap kids.
you can always like buy bigger ones and edit them? i think a lot of stores do that type of thing and if not, you're screwed lol jks you can take it to the specialist where they work out your measurements, resize itt.. etc etc..
